Sienkiewicz art is a tough style to nail in 3-D.

Bill Sienkiewicz ! That is a big name. I like the smoking skull on plinth, but Batman's pose looks lackluster.

Hmmm - on the fence on the Sienkiewicz piece. Leaning towards a pass but will see what the other angles look like. It is certainly unique which I do like. I see what they are going for from the source art from Batman 400.

Although it looks cool, I'm hoping that stand with the smoking skull is a separate piece so Batman can be displayed without it as well.

Going off memory, I believe almost all of the McFarlane designed statues are connected to the base. I'm hoping that's not the case here but not getting my hopes up.

I dunno. I applaud the attempt but don’t think the execution really pulls this one off.

I still buy them all, but I've been noticing the edition sizes are about 10% of what DC Collectibles used to do. Has the interest waned? The Mitch Gerards BW was limited to only 500. DC would usually make at least 5K on each statue when they were numbered.

Hello, First time posting on this forum. Stupid question, but how do you know the Gerards BW is limited to 500? Could it also perhaps be a typo? Just asking because I usually wait for prices to go down before I purchase.

They are individually numbered underneath the base. It's definitely not a mistake. Denys Cowan (which retailed for $200) was limited 630 and Lee Weeks was close to that # too. Very low edition sizes so I doubt the prices are going down. I pre-ordered the Bill Sienkiewicz one as well, and I wonder if the preorders determine edition size now and that's all they make.
