Age of Adeline 7/10 not too bad for a chick flick except for the creepy part at the end that no one in the movie talks about.

Chappie 9/10.

Endearing movie with tons of social commentary as usual from this director.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Extended) ~ 4/5

Still great, but the 2nd chapter is always my favourite. The extended version also drags a bit at certain parts

Big Hero 6 7/10 Fun, cute movie.

Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies 8/10 I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this one. It was short (for one of these movies) and never had a dull moment IMO. Good stuff. I was barely interested after the boring slog of the Smaug movie, but pleasantly surprised with this one.

What's the deal with Gandolf? Can he use magic or not? All he does in this movie is hit people with his stick or use a sword.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

It was a bit simple/one-dimensional, much like Elysium and the plot didn't fulfill its potential but I still enjoyed it. I've liked all of Neil Blomkamps movies. I didn't have any problems with the guest star rappers, their quirkiness fit the film. And for what it's worth, my mum loved it!

8/10
