WHAT IN THE WORLD?... Oh, man...a dark day indeed. My condolences, my friend. Too much weight on a shelf?

It wasn't the weight of the statues. What I think happened was my wife's grandfather came by this week and had to get behind that cabinet to fix the phone line. He removed the statues and moved the cabinet and anyone who knows a deotlf will tell you, the shelves can shift to one side with only a minute edge holding on. I think the top shelf got moved and a few days later, the "weight" caused it collapse in on itself.

You might as well have posted pics of dead children (ok, i admit that's stretching it a tad)
Seriously, i'm sorry to see this to say the very least and have recently had a bad DETOLF experience when my gf literally fell onto one of my DETOLF's and the impact on the glass door broke off a finger on a piece that was placed to close to the door. Luckily it wasn't something i can't replace, but still.
Again, sorry man, are you going to be able to put this on your home insurance?

Were you present when it happened? I'd most likely multiply the destruction by a few holes in the walls with my bare fists.
