It's in rare times like these, I sometimes wish that Sugo would receive their allotment 3 months after Spec, rather than the other way around. It might've been enough to convince me to take the NRD hit.

My hype has dimmed a bit since everybody collectively went gaga over the initial Queen marketing photos, but I'm still glad I ordered it. It looks pretty great in your photos and I think I'll learn to accept the more matte finish. Any thoughts on how you plan to display it?
The closest, non-custom case that I've found so far is the Moducase DF Series 45? Corner, but I don't know if that's overkill. And a bust like this really seems to be better suited on a pedestal.

You'll love it. It's an amazing piece. So cool to see it in person with the flaps extended.
As far as the colour goes, yes it's different from the solicit pics, but it looks the same as the prototype they displayed at that live event a couple of years ago.
For my display, I'll be doing custom cabinet units throughout my basement.
This is the idea I'm working on right now.

That’s going to turn out lovely. This bust is made to be a centerpiece.

Yeah don't get me wrong as much as I do wish the paint was the same as the 1/4, I can't stop looking over at it and admiring it. It's leagues better than the old Sideshow bust and well worth a spot in any collection.

I like the new Mark 3 bust from Sideshow though. That was a nice improvement over the old one I think.
But yes the sculpt work on the Mark 7 bust is great. I’m just not happy with the paint, but if you can get past that it’s a very good piece.

Loving the look of the extended flaps on both of these.

Agreed, it's one of the better features. For Mark 7 pieces, it's flaps out or bust
