Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Ya same game engine, same wire frames withe 3D. its just much nicer looking 3D models now.

Im wondering about the mechanics now tho.

Will they keep the focus or add parries. Delayed wake up? or alpha counters?

way they crammed in the new mechanics to Ultra Sf4, i keep wondering if it was a test or to get people ready for SF5

i think ultra is most likely a way to test things for future fighting games .. from what i can take, the stage seems to be similar to yun/yangs in 3rd strike and im guessing the gameplay will be almost a mix of alpha and 3rd strike with some footsie sf4 gameplay .. well see

with all the mechanics added to ultra im sure they did it to gauge interests and find out what people like or dont like

im excited for sf5 .. cant come soon enough!

I hope there's no delayed wake up.

People have been talking about Guard Crush for a while....

That too, is an assumption that many are making, yes. Makes sense to me.

What specifically were you surprised about, regarding the sales figures?
I wouldnt call it an assumption.

I was surprised that around 40% of the sf4 sales came from the xbox. It seems to be a common misconception that xbox is irrelevant for the fighting genre and this deal was inevitable because of that, but that number says otherwise.

She looks very nice. That makes waiting for a Chun-Li revisit even harder.

I don't recall anyone saying saying it was "irrelevant." What you always heard was the 360 controller blows for fighting games. I would hazard a guess that close to 100% of their 40% share of sales on SF4 went to Xbox only owners. Anyone that had both was buying it on the PS4.

As for the exclusivity deal, I think you're viewing it from a last gen perspective. You see a 40/60 split on sales of SF4 and it seems like a lot of money to leave on the table. Except you need to remember what the user base was at that time...360 had a very decent lead on the PS3 and still only accounted for 40%. This gen? The PS4 has a commanding lead already and Capcom was probably reading the writing on the wall. If this wasn't exclusive. the split would probably be 20/80 and I'm most likely being over-generous.
