I liked how his move set looked in the trailer, he's a character I've liked but never really played before in the other games. Maybe I'll check him out when he arrives.

Oh and how to do you unlock the colours for the Alt costumes you buy?

Pretty sure you play through survival using the costume, just like unlocking for the regular costumes.

So is it true that Alex and Guile will be locked after they implement the in game store? From what I understand Alex and Guile are currently available immediately via the update patch if you have the game, but will be locked upon the implementation of the store unless you purchased the Season Pass.

Is Capcom really being this stupid, or do I have the facts wrong on this?

If I recall correctly, the new characters are free to use for like a month or so, then they go to being sold.

Kind of like giving you a taste, let you try them out, maybe help balance, then after that time when they are for sale, you should be able to know by then if you want them or not.

Well to my knowledge they are still free, I just think it's dumb that already accessible characters will be locked behind having to grind them out or pay for them after the fact. At least leave Guile and Alex where they are, I mean what's the point of making people grind out characters they already have access to?

I've still hardly played sfv, none of the characters so far have really appealed to me and I find some of them head scratchingly bland (ibuki coming next, seriously zzzzzzz) I like fang but his play style goes completely against what I'm used to. Still hoping for gouken, Hugo or Dudley though I'll doubt we'll see any of those
So I've still been on SFIV, plenty of games still on 360 and I enjoy the game a lot more.

Still glad i didn't rush out to get a PS4 just for SF5 day one, even when i tested it at NYCC i could feel how bad the engine and game play was. Just like when i tested SFxT years before.

All the guys i played SF4 with and still in contact with thru various chats and emails have quit SF5, they all say the same thing. Boring to watch and horrible to play.

As i said from the start, catering to casuals and dumbing down the game killed the SF series. SF5 won't get the years SF4 did with hype, amazing tornys, streams etc....
