The Book of Five Rings, by Miyamoto Musashi

10/10. Cannot give this book a high enough rating. A true Samurai who writes about mental discipline. The man’s words have true meaning and weight behind them because they come from someone who dealt with life and death on a regular basis. His words not only stand out even from so many years ago but they make you realize how meaningless most of the crap we hear on the news and social media is.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Saga by Brian K. Vaughan. Finished Book 1. Now making my way through Book 2. Great sci-fi with both humor and heart (and sex, violence, surprises, etc.).

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Just started with "Forgotten Gods - Omnibus (Books 1-8)"
So far it's been quite entertaining.

I'm reading Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality (HPMOR) now. is a Harry Potter fan fiction by Eliezer Yudkowsky. I also recently read some very interesting essays called "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty", "Thank You Ma'am", and "Test". In Literature, symbolism is when an author uses an object, person, situation or word to represent an idea or another meaning other than its literal meaning. The symbolism in these stories is simply at the highest level and I really like it. You can read critical information here about these works. Maybe they'll tell you better about them than I do, and you'll want to read them too.
