IMAX experts: Best seating at an IMAX 3D film?

Hey gang,

I may check out Thor in IMAX 3D. What's the best place to sit, IMAX experts? Toward the top row or in the middle?

Middle to Middle Top is where I usually sit. I've never done the top row.

OK, so anywhere between the top row and the center row should be fine, eh?

Thanks O!

You always want to get in the middle section so the screen almost fills up your entire section.

What I meant was Center to just a little above center should be good enough. Dont go too high.

I was looking for a similar answer when I went to watch TDK in IMAX (first IMAX experience)

"There is only one place to sit in the cinema, with your eyes aligned with the exact centre of the screen both horizontally and vertically. The middle seat two thirds of the way back. This is of particular significance at the IMAX and other very large screens where the wrong seat can result in neck/ back pains and an utterly distorted image."
