Didn’t they do evolution sets for this statue? Too bad PCS didn’t wait for SFV’s Sagat design like many of us suggested.

Instead they made the laughable SF2V Sagat!

If I’d been directing the project this is what you’d have received.

SF1 Sagat: Purple trunks, No scar, angry portrait, smirking portrait.

SF2/SFA/SF4 Sagat: Scar chest, Two pairs of trunks yellow/blue, red/blue. Serious portrait,

SFV Sagat: New Costume, Serious and Laughing portrait.

Evolution set would come with an Art Print and an authentic Sagat eye patch!

But yeah, I guess the preorder wouldn’t have been pushed out as quickly if they’d gone that route......

That would have been the way to go.

Now I'm hoping someone else does at least 1/4 Sagat from SFV because his new design is killer. The cloak could be fabric so you could even display him shirtless if you wanted.

Thanks for the update Jerry stated before he left he was doing one to throw in,Id just like confirmation from him or I guess PCS that the sculpt was completed and waiting to be made with Sagat. I havent heard a solid yes or no yet from anyone.

This probably hasn’t even been sent to China to be looked at muchless confirmation of what Jerry said. I would honestly expect this 2020.

The PCS version is the best. The PCS version is better than the game.

I can agree with that. Even though I canceled for a refund, I will grab one when they become available.

I've been collecting Jerry's work since the SOTA toy days, well before SFIV was released, and nobody comes close, not even Capcom itself, to this ideal art style. It's subjective, sure, but I feel SFV made some improvements over IV, and some really bad ones (Alex, wth?). It's just too bad that it comes with the occasional poor business practices.

When the dust settles, who will top this Sagat, Prime1? I don't think they'll make anything groundbreaking, other than a cool Akuma and some other fanservice character.

Just do a live chat on the SS website you will be helped in no time

...just make sure you wont regret it when in hand pics start surfacing...if this comes out anything like 1:3 Ryu it will be tiger uppercut jaw-dropping

This is one piece I will never get rid of,it's just too badass. Fingers crossed the final product is as good as the proto.
