This is one of the points. He was overpriced. He is also an awesome statue. Had the ES total been 750, the price might not have been Too bad. Problem is the 3500 (probably less of course) still in stock. How much do you those are going to be worth. I get the EX had an extra head but IMO that head does not make or break that statue.
At his ES total, and the sitting pose, and size- I might of preordered at 900$.
Also we get different prices based on complexity now. A dude on a chair is not as complex as DP or Mags(supposedly). This point brings up the point that thier prices are soo damn random.
Prices are whatever for some people. But for most collectors prices are pretty steady. Lately they are literally all over the place. I think this is the biggest problem We invested our space and money in 1:4, and then the hobby and prices caught fire. Some of us old school collectors are sitting here going, hey what the heck is happening. Incomplete lines, redos, A listers still missing, higher prices and no change in the product?
Sorry , it is beating a dead horse. But if more people are vocal maybe the new norm for a PF won't exceed 1000$ in a year.
