Why would they start this series with Zaius? and not Ursus or Cornelius?....still I would like to see more.

Why start with any of those at all? The best start would of been with Taylor.

Hopefully they're prepaired to release these fast otherwise this is going to be a rather unpopular line. They'd only make sense displayed together, otherwise i'd imagine a single figure, especially a lone "damn dirty ape", would look out of place in most collections.

yes even i have my limits this is a rare pass for me but the piece looks amazing just not my era......

still I will buy it.....I remember seeing planet of the apes in the movies when I was a kid in the early 70's I'm sure the collection will look cool once thay are out....especially Gen Ursus and that big ape war helmet..

I think Cornelius would have been a better choice to kick off the line personally.

I suppose it was "wishful thinking", but when I heard premium format, I thought maybe they might even step it up to realistic "synthetic" (rather than sculpted) hair. I suppose that would be a dream.

I just don't want it to be the quality of a high end action figure, with GI Joe looking clothing, but in a larger scale. Of course it's too early to call it. Keeping my fingers crossed! Sorry to be prematurely negative.
