Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

For me, this new version is not only worse, it's a deal breaker. If what we get is what they showed on their live show, I'm definitely cancelling. If others like this better, more power to them.

Only about 2-3 individuals so far have said they prefer this version over the original. Which was about 17% of people who commented positively or negatively on the change.

However does anyone know what the reaction was on the Facebook groups? If it was bad enough I wonder if Sideshow would be willing to change it back?

But I’m guessing this newer version may be cheaper to produce.

I wonder if the people that were complaining about the original construct were ever going to buy the piece? (YouTubers included) They may have just ruined it for the people that liked the clear resin. The original construct looks better to me and many others (SS WTF?)

SS likely changed the color to account for the missing arm, doubt they'll go back.

Unfortunately you’re probably right.

If only they were willing and able to produce a piece were the full arm is sculpted, but with the translucent resin construct affixed around it somehow.

Looks like someone else is none too happy about the change. I wonder why they do this. Show one thing, deliver another?
I don't have this on pre_order, but i did think the *clear* green had a certain WoW factor. The updated *solid* green looks like a cheap toy.

It looked way better at NYCC'

This custom was made about 10 years ago. you would think a company the size of SS with all of their resources could come up with something to at least match it (talking specifically about the construct material).

There are two factors possibly. The one is shipping, they might put steel into that green stuff so they make half solid green to hide the construction. The two is Sideshow changed the painting without notification. I think that half solid green is really good. It brings more paint application than pure clear green. Now the painting looks more various and realistic.
Please aware that new green weapon it is not pure solid looking. It is still half solid with some green paint application.

I don't know, man

...once again, art direction or management at SSC pulls off a head-scratcher.
