Doesn't surprise me at all that there would be a variant, I figured there would be for quite a while now but I thought it would be the brown costume. Maybe that would require too much alteration to the original sculpt and/or they don't want to do it because XM is. Anyway it was received way too well, it's too popular of a character, and he has a relatively easy costume to do for them not to do it.

The last two years, they've released a variant during Spooktacular with a small ES. Maybe this is for 2019's Spooktacular.
