I took like three pics just of the base in the package, but it's hard to tell where some of these extra stryo blocks go.
I see now I missed putting a couple on the top of the base by the book.
I'll have to pull it out and repack those.

There's some softer foam around the lighted tank that I think I need to reorient. That may be why it's not shutting flush.

How's the return process going? I have my own damaged Seconds piece to return from today so wondering if I can expect resistance.
Keep us updated please.

I had sent good photos along with my return request. They sent me a label yesterday and I shipped it out today. I had used a few hundred rewards points on the purchase, but they assured me that I'd get those back. They're giving me a full refund, including shipping.

Well that is how it is supposed to go and honestly they probably know some not too flattering PR would await them should they try anything different.

I'll see how mine goes. Honestly I have come to conclude that Seconds is not a crap shoot not just for damaged boxes but to attempt to offload returns.
The break on mine was clearly prior to it being sent to me.

Good luck. I hope they treat you well. From my experience, being polite with them helps a lot, but if you're not satisfied with the options they give you, asking to speak to a manager can improve your results.

Oh I'm polite I just only accept full refunds. I didn't order a $950 broken statue for an extra $50 credit/refund nor will I be accepting one.

I have gotten the random shipper before but the statue was new. But one time I got a really obvious return. The thing is, the problems should have been corrected before it was sent back out, had they just QC'ed it, but they didnt. That one went back and I got a replacement that was perfect. I mean, if they want to marry up new parts or whatever, fine, but actually do that, dont just keep sending the damaged/faulty one back out.

I am still kind of shocked that the piece looked so much different in the video from box (Tina Turner) to set up. Crazy.
