Tariff News/Impact On Collectibles (No Politics)
Let's keep this thread dedicated to tariff news, updates, and discussions regarding the impact they are having on companies and the collectibles community. No political tangents please. The same updates/discussions can be had in the General Discussion/News sticky threads that exist in some of the big company forums, but this thread can serve as a catch-all for all the smaller companies and retailers as well.
I'll start with the biggie, Sideshow has released their policy regarding tariffs:

I'm in a position where I can easily wait this out because there is really nothing else I need just a couple things I'd like to have. Some fellas are just starting out so this might be a little frustrating. I think we will have to wait a little while for some items but not too terribly long. We are used to that though.

P1 is dead about this. Really disappointed for the lack of assurance.

I have nothing on order and I don’t really plan on ordering anything unless there might be a character that Tweeterhead is releasing that I want
I’m in agreement about waiting this one out
We just pretty much have to wait and see what will happen and to see what goods will be affected and what ones will not cause that seems to change on a daily basis

Good News!
To help you save on these charges, we will arrange all the US shipments directly from our Bangladesh factory, which may waive or significantly reduce tariffs on eligible orders.
The shipping charges will keep the same, but the delivery time may take a bit longer around 4~6 weeks for the U.S. shipment. We hope this will be an advantage to our U.S. Customers and thank you for your support all the time.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

VAT isn't a tariff.

A VAT (Value-Added Tax) and a tariff are distinct tax types. A VAT is a consumption tax applied to all goods and services, regardless of origin, while a tariff is a tax specifically levied on imported goods. In essence, a VAT is a broad tax on consumption, while a tariff is a trade-specific tax.

Great explanation. In addition. VAT is country specific in the EU and ranges between 6 to 21% depending on what type of product or service.
