That also made me think Enchantress... so much so that it seemed wrong on Wanda. I don't hate it, but it will take a bit to get used to.

I don’t even want to get used to it. I thought they did a great job with her movie costume. A great blend of real life and comic. All they needed to do was add the headpiece. Instead they went an screwed with the entire thing. Just an example of less is more.
I mean if you’re a character that rocks a pointy headpiece - just rock a pointy headpiece. The show did a GREAT job with the OG SW headpiece design. It was amazing and not cheesy in the least.

Agree 100%. I would really prefer a modern look, and not bathing suit Wanda.
I am kinda hoping that it will be modern and have a flying/floating effect so that it pairs with Doctor Strange well.
If I had to bet, I dont think this will get a X-Mansion or snow base to match the current PFs. (Like I think the Storm will get)

It would look extremely dumb for SS to do the old leotard at this point.
Everything points to the new outfit now.
Comics
Movies
Netflix Series (which makes fun of the leotard)
It makes sense, but that doesn't mean SS will do it right, lol.

There's no way this is going to be a "classic" look statue.
1) Sideshow doesn't like doing that to begin with, and 2) There's no way in hell Disney is going to approve a classic look statue with WandaVision being what it was.

It doesn't specify that the piece is based on the show though.
Sideshow has done a few Avengers pieces mingled within the movies and they are not necessarily movie versions. There were still classic costumes used.
