Need some advice on selling my collection

Hey guys I'm getting ready to retire and move into a smaller home in about a year. I have about 120 pieces that are mostly a combination of Bowen and Sideshow. How does this work here? Shoot individual pictures to post? I have a document with pictures and descriptions with details like "signed and sketched", "Signed by Stan Lee", etc. I'd like to get some offers on some of the pieces before setting prices. Also I see there is some sort of tie-in to ebay.... is there a sticky somewhere that explains how all this works? I know I need to pay the membership fee...

To sell on SF you need to purchase an adamantium membership.

Hey! Your best bet is to sell it off via eBay. To see how much to sell it for try and do a search on eBay under SOLD, and see how much they have gone for. Of course, condition and edition numbers make a difference also boxed or not, but looking around do your research and you should get an idea. You could also place it on a bid, and if its a well sort after item, it may sell for even more. Im keeping my stuff till death, till love or uncontrollable situation. Let me know if you have any terminator stuff, Id be interested in that. Ebay is a fun way and can get addictive. Have fun.

Join some Facebook BST groups, there are plenty out there for every region pretty much.

Good place to start before you start to put stuff on ebay as a last resort.

Is there a way I can just post my document in a group to see if there is any interest here?

Probably, give it a shot and see. Careful though there are more scammers there then I've seen elsewhere (forums/ebay). Not that it's rife with them or anything just seems to be a higher chance so be careful.

I post most of my sales on the freaks board, it's a bit more active in the sale section then over here....

I also sell quite a bit on Ebay.... I've had a few people claim that they found some scratches here or there that weren't shown on my pictures, but when I ask for proof they never respond but open up a ticket requesting a price reduction, complete BS as I inspect everything I sell and take lots of pictures.... but you will get that shady type of person every once in awhile... in 80+ sales on Ebay I've probably only had 2-3 bad experiences...

I've sold about 30 statues / hot toys on the freaks sale forum with no problems... so far anyways
