Buffy/Angel ornaments

I certainly hope that you and yours are having a wonderful holiday season, and that Santa was mighty good to you this year. I know he was to me! I hadn't planned on doing a review today, assuming I deserved a break. But after assembling an activity table, two Pyrates ships, a Playmobil castle and a Playmobile fairy set, and then having a house full of relatives all day - a review was actually the break I needed.

It's not a big one, but it is seasonal - the new Buffy and Angel Christmas ornaments. And no, they aren't REALLY statues, but they are done in statue format. There are five in this first set, including Angel, Buffy, Illryia, Spike and Fred. Unfortunately, the sculpt and paint aren't quite as good as the 6" figures, but they'll still look great on the tree.

I love that last picture in your review, Michael. It looks like Angel is about to slit his bust's throat. I would if it looked like that, too.

Those are fugly. This is coming from a Buffy fan. DST needs to improve its quality control. If my Spike bust arrives looking like that Spike ornament, I'm going to smash it and then send DST a picture (unless I'm in need of money...then I'll try to get a refund).
