Athena PRE-ORDER
Who wants to pre-order Athena? It would take about 3 months until we deliver the first batch.
We can make it happen if we get 15 guys in. Full payment upfront, otherwise I won't be able to pay for the print and molds.
Price $250 plus shipping.

Is it through your website for pre-order? 3 months is a long time...... Can I see the color painted on her first?
Hey just curious, what are your statues made out of (polystone, cost-cast porcelain, resin)? If its resin are they strong as polystone?

I would do a full down payment preorder if I could see a paint master prototype. Would it be possible to do so since it's that far out from release?

We can't have a painted piece without printing it first.
The idea of a pre-order is to have the print done now, otherwise I can only print Athena way latter in 2011 since right now we are paying for Leonidas production in China, and no money left for anything else.

Resin, cold-cast-porcelain, and Polystone are the same thing.
Those are just fancy names to call resin (Polyester Resin). Resin sounds cheap!
The resin I use for the AP Editions is Smooth-On that I consider WAY better than polyester resin used by factories in China

Arahom, wouldn't it be wiser to spread the statue production? I mean, you have so many projects going on right now, personally I would focus on just one statue and if that goes well, go on to the next project. If you keep it up at this rate, you'll be bankrupt in no time.

People normally bankrupt when they spend more money than they make... I don't think this has been the case so far.
I can see collectors in trouble if they buy too much, but not companies when tehy sell too often! LOL
Pre-orders in our case are just a quick and easy way to get new statues out.

Oh? I thought resin was different then polystone because it's lighter & can be carved (cut) using a knife (almost wax like thickness). Where as polystone / cold cast can not. It is also substantially heavier to resin.

Arahom, I just emailed you. I'll take one.
Let me know where I stand on the list so far.
