Don't forget that Iron Man was an B+ character who couldn't even keep a monthly title afloat before the movie hit. If you look at stuff like "Spider-man and Friends" and the post Spider-man 1&2 "Marvel Heroes" offerings Iron Man was no where to be found 5 years ago and was often replaced with the Silver Surfer or Cyclops.
True, but even folks who have never had comic exposure have an idea of who Thor (the mythological version) is. Movies about barbarian-lookin' dudes with hammers or swords appeal to a larger audience.

GL and Cap also have the Hollywood heart-throb appeal for alot of the ladies. I've got a few lady friends who aren't particularly interested in comic book characters but would watch Ryan Reynolds in anything.

Ultimately, Thor will probably come out on top though.

I'm pulling for Thor(in money and quality/more importantly in quality).

Cap
Thor
GL

Not sure how well GL is going to do. Not a lot of buzz around it after the previews. I wouldn't be surprised if X-Men out does them all.

X-men is looking better and better. Aside from being a diehard X-fan, I love rooting for the underdog, so my fingers are crossed for it's success!
