Wow, I just got this book from Buy.com (with $20 off) and WOW!! This book looks beautiful in the oversized format. I think this is the first book that trully takes advantage of the format.

Hey Mike,

It looks like Comic Shop News #1016 agrees with you. Not about MLoco's being a hater, that is, but about Absolute Sandman. Here's the award they gave the book in their 16th Annual CSN Red K Awards published just this last week:

The "Absolute Accomplishment" Award
Absolute Sandman Volume One

Every DC Absolute has been exceptional in quality, but nothing produced thus far compares to the unprecedented job done with this volume. Sophisticated color remastering, superlative reproduction throughout, and a selection of bonus material every Sandman fan dreams of -- and on top of that, it's a stunningly designed book, ribbed spine and all, that far surpasses the typical mass-market hardcover.

I'm going to plug this one more time: Buy.com with Google checkout. I got Absolute Sandman for $37 shipped. I also got Absolute Dark Knight for $37 shipped. Yes, over 60% off.

Just do it as multiple transactions and you get the $20 off each time.
