He's a prick for sure, but Im not sure if he's an absolute moron. I dont know if he ever wouldve called the Panther a N****, but he does have an air of superiority which, for him, could extend racially as it does morally and intelligently. But if he would ever say it? i doubt it.

The race card is just easier to play in this instance. Though Stark "dislike" of the Panther is probably more complex than the color of skin.
Interesting that this tension between the two has been consistently written for what like 30 years now? Fascinating.

i like the consistancy, thats why i hate civil war so damn much because it's throwing out decades worth of character development and character interaction. if you don't like somebody it usually stays that way, you don't suddenly become his best buddy one week and then dislike them again the next. it seems to me the best answer is they are both too alike for each others own taste and that rubs them both the wrong way, BP doesn't seem to care any more for Tony then Tony does for him, so does that mean BP is a racist and is close to calling tony a stupid cracker in any of those panels?
