hey everyone... just wanted to ask everyone to keep Mark my partner in their thoughts and prayers... he is in the hospital, has been since Monday night... he has Pancreatitis - they have to keep him in the hospital until the imflamation of his pancreaus goes down... he can't have any food or water at all until then...

but they are worried because he is still in a lot of pain and the pain should have started going away by now... he is running a fever last night it went up to 109 - and they don't know why it is doing this -

the test they have taken haven't shown anything yet - they are calling in a disease speacilist to look over everything and see if they can figure out what is going on...

its just bad - with us being a gay couple the doctor won't really tell me anything - i have to depend on his mother to find everything out... it sucks...

i have just started this new job so i don't have any sick or vaction days to take yet... so i have to work - when i want to be there at the hospital by his side...

anyway - just keep him in your thoughts... hopefully they will find out something soon...

I hope he gets better soon, send him my love, if there's anything that I can do, please let me know.

Thanks I appreciate it.

He his doing much better now. They brougt in a disease specialist but he still can't figurevanything out. They are thinking now that he might have kidney stones on top of the pancreatitis. Plus they say he has diet control diabetes.

They are going to try to start giving him liquids today. He hadn't had any food since Monday. He will at least be in there through the weekend.

Have they done a cat scan or an MRI?

They need to do them to make sure that he has nothing in his pancreas. I't REALLY important that they do this, you don't want anything going undiagnosed.

They have run all these test twice. Nothing is showing up. He is doing much better now. They gave him liquids yesterday. Chicken brooth apple juice and jello. The pain is going away some. They are even talking about him getting to come home by Monday. They still haven't found out what caused it. The say there are no gall stones or kidney stones. They also say that his sugar levels are back to normal so no diabetes either. All good news yesterday. He got to get up and take a shower also. So things are looking much better.
