Looks like I'm going to keep them. I'm too late to move them now and make even a small profit. Besides, I'd be lucky to find anyone interested in them. With three players still functioning, it still works great with my smaller TVs. Just having jumped into HD-DVDs, I hope I don't end up with the same problem with my DVDs in the future.

Ah laserdiscs. I've got about 200 of them gathering dust in my home theater. I still actually play one or two, but they're movies with no dvd release in sight, like the Giorgio Moroder "Metropolis," "The Monster Squad," and "El Cid." What a colossal waste of money, but back in the day when a 35" TV was big, they were the bomb.
