This one looks great!
Totally different from his first concept... but I am loving the pose, the spear and sword forming a cross and the movement of the cape. Wow!

I wish he puts that mini-scale pose up for his monthly contest... :-) looks lovely!

I'm gonna have to disagree with that. Check this out, this is no more than 2 inches and yet, has more details than most of statues:

Size is not an indicator of the level of details. It's all up to the sculptor!

Anyways, great news for the TopCow universe!!!

I'm pretty sure the armature that Clay uses is 7".
Not the actual sculpt.

He even stated that sculpting the mock-up costume for this 'thumb nail' part of the process was not necessary but he went ahead and did it.
I think it was a good move seeing how the costume is such an integral part of this piece.

Can't wait to see this painted!

Little my words. Magdalena is amazing. But as Colossus stated: With so many great pics of Magdalena around, I cant really believe he took this one.

Actually, I would love a smaller line by Clay. I was telling Northerlad once that I would love it if Kotobukiya did bishoujo versions of Witchblade characters. I would actually prefer them done by Clay. He sure knows how to sculpt a female form.

True, Clay would do it way better! Well...not especially in terms of sculpt, but in terms of "final product". Kotobukiya has yet to learn what quality check means, I mean, siriously, how can a company dare to sell <$200 statues when the paintjob is beyond aweful?

And yes, smaller scale would be great if there is a whole line following up!

This is looking good. Very different for the original new sculpt that was mentioned way back at the time AIX was being sculpted.

No, it won't fit in a detolf but there's no denying that dynamic pose.

Do you think we'll see the same cool base design we saw before?
