Always thought because an Artist Proof (AP) is painted by the artists themselves and not the factory that it would be worth more.
I also saw it as the best copy to get because of that same reason. That the artists themselves painted it.
If I'm not mistaken, an AP is the pieces that SSC would send to the factory to be used as examples. Right?
