The list price on Amiami for her is 30,240 Yen. The price would really be off the wall if not for discounts and the weak Yen.

OK, the statue looks pretty sick.

I have a Wii U, but I have not played this game.

Can anyone tell me their thoughts on the game? It's a Game of the Year nominee at IGN. Is it really that good?

I imagine if I get it and enjoy it I;ll end up getting that statue.

Do you like DMC? If you do, you absolutely OWE it yourself to play it. Hell, if you just plain like good games you owe it to yourself. The first Bayonetta is one of my, if not my favorite game from the last generation and the second is everything the first was and more. Yes, it is that good. Play it.

Playing through Bayo 2 now. a big improvement over the first one when it comes to character design, because I always found the original Bayonetta to look ridiculous. If Bayo 2 was a statue, i'd probably buy that one, but i'll pass on this one.

While I don't mind Bayo's first design I've got to agree that the second is better. Really hoping we get a nice Bayo 2 fig.

Why don't they make this game for some of the larger game systems?

I thought some of the appeal of Bayonetta was her crazy design. I wouldn't want that taken away.

Because without Nintendo Bayonetta 2 wouldn't exist. It was actually cancelled by Sega because of a lack of budget and poor sales of Bayo 1, and neither Sony nor Microsoft were willing to pick up the tab. Nintendo was though, and as such it became exclusive to the Wii U. I'd love to see it on the PS4 or XB1, but considering it didn't exactly set the charts on fire it'll probably take another bankrolling by Nintendo to get a third.

I love the original Bayonetta game. Obviously she is popular, due to the amount of statues/kits based on her.

Looking back at Bayo 1's sales they aren't nearly as bad as I seem to remember. 1.3M three months out from release isn't awful for an arguably more niche title, should have been plenty of reason to publish a sequel. But this is the same company that has criminally mishandled Valkyria Chronicles and localizes one Yakuza title every five years, so I guess this is just par for the course.
