Code 3 Vader's Tie Fighter Cheap Reply to Thread

Added the Tie SE to go along with my X-wing SE.....wanted
Jones' autograph since I don't have it with any other SW stuff.
...$300 shipped with cover is not bad and I like the base.

Why Ed?
Could somebody post some Slave 1 pics, please? I'm thinking on getting one, but I would like to see some pics and listen to some comments. Thanks.

IMO it doesn't look weathered enough. it seems too "clean".

also, the carbonite han just looks odd to me.

it's a fine model but just not for me.

i just got my Tie fighter (reg ver) today. wow! i wasn't expecting much but i must admit that i am very impressed with the quality of this model. fit and finish is tops. the entire unit was double boxed with foam "edgers" that safely kept the actual box protected. the inner container had four plastic edge holders that held the three piece foam together. base and documentation on the bottom with the tie fighter nicely fit in the middle. from the pictures the surface of the base seemed to look like the shiny finish as that of the gentle giant statue bases but are actually of a velvet type material. the mini stand is also of same type. it neatly holds the model angled in an almost maneuvering action pose. overall i am quite pleased with this purchase! even more so because it only cost $99 (plus shipping & tax). i look forward to getting the signature edition on monday!! highly recommended for all you crazy star wars fans like me!

Yeah regardless of what you might think about their actual pieces. Code 3 packing is best in the business.
