Kitty Vs Black Canary
Who's your money on? Black Canary is one of DC's most gifted martial artists and has her sonic scream but she's never faced a mutant before! Kitty or Shadowcat is also a very skilled martial artist who learned from one of Logan's instructor's as well as Logan and has the mutant ability to "phase" through or with objects.

Can Black Canary's sonic scream affect Kitty when she's intangible? I'd say Black Canary's martial arts skills far outstrip Kitty's and while Kitty could stealth-defeat her the bird lady would easily win this one.

see Kitty has one of those powers that in all likelyhood should just let her beat anybody with 0 effort, i don't care who the hell you are if somebody reaches into your head and pulls out your brain the fight is over

If Black Canary can keep away from her long enough while Kitty is intangible I think she wins. Eventually Kitty will need to have to phase to normal and be vulnerable. I also think BC has the edge in experience at this point.

What the heck is up with Marvel characters these days?
Shadowcat is phasing people's brains out, Nightcrawler teleporting limbs away. I can't wait for Mr. Fantastic to start stretching into ears and exploding their brains and the Invisible Woman projecting force fields into people's livers.
Why not just have telekinetics split the nucleus of an atom and instant nuclear explosions!
