I don't think anyone should be prohibited from voting for themselves. The reason they want to be a mod is because they believe they are best for the job. After all, if you don't believe in yourself, who will?
I agree that it may be classy and noble to not vote for yourself, it shouldn't be prohibited IMO.

The point is that if everyone would vote for themselves, then they just just all start off with one vote to begin with ... what's the point of that?
