what is sideshow doing honestly? i'm probably in the minority, but these little gimmick things like the portal behind cable, or the thing on top of colossus' shoulder, or the flames on jean's neck, psylock's huge purple flames base. they are ruining the statues.
their previous line of x-men statues with the simple bases and poses were amazing. now they're adding these little gimmicks and look so ridiculous in my opinion..
gambit has some purple effects added.. they're ok. not completely atrocious.
the sabretooth and rogue statues are really damn good, no gimmicks with those. the rogue piece looks like something XM would've done with the pose and base. it's an amazing piece.
cable and colossus from XM blows their sideshow counterparts out of the water .... like i said, i know im in the minority. but i prefer the old simplistic states from sideshow compared to what they're releasing now a days.
