I'm guessing there are members who like sigs, maybe even paid to have a sig, but get a bit weary when other people don't follow the sig guidelines we've had for years. It's fair enough, because some of them had got somewhat out of control.

I don't understand what the big deal is ... if you don't like signatures ... you have the option to turn them off for Pete's sake!

I kind of like signatures. They add interest/variety.

I REALLY enjoyed Alex and boonies dance-athon. Hilarious.

Good thread!

youre missing my point....the fact that someone would go out of their way to COMPLAIN to drew or whoever about the sigs rather than turning them off is rather pathetic IMO

I see that point. It's not something I'd do, personally, but the British are famed for their capacity to grin and bear it and not complain about such irritations. But, like I said, there will be people who want to use sigs and see sigs, but don't want a whole MySpace page at the bottom of people's posts. Drew's sig rules strike a happy compromise.

It is a shame they go to Drew over something so trivial, though, he has too much on his plate already and could do without the irritation. They should go to one of us instead, the message will get passed on and the issue addressed just the same. Don't hassle the organ grinder, people, poke us monkeys instead.
