Congrats, Alex!
Didn't Chronicle say they modified the wire on the side of the right arm on all the ED-209's that were bought directly from them?
I notice that wasn't done with this specimen. Not that it's a dealbreaker or something, I'm just wondering...

If you ordered direct, then yes it would most likely have been fixed by the people at Chronicle during their QC check. If you ordered from a 3rd party then it may not have - as these would have been shipped from the factory direct. Having said that I ordered mine through a local dealer in Australia and my was fine - maybe it is a batch thing?

I ordered direct from Chronicle and it was opened for a QC check before shipment.

Don't bother.. my ED was modified by Paul, but the wires are too short so now they are on top of the yellow/black warning sign.

Were there small variations in paint between the original ED-209's or is this a painting error? Just curious..
