Edit: I think you may have a bootleg? This non-legitimate one is the only kind I'm seeing with a support pole.

Maybe go without the support stand and just keep an eye on it...could just be Kotobukiya being overly cautious.

Ehhhh there's a reason Koto is overly cautious.
Stats to droop I guess you could just use the support then but there might be some strecthing...
Probably should have gone with a safer pose.

That's hard to do, especially with their production process. They pretty much use steel molds since it is a PVC and fitting across different materials and in the mass numbers for PVC to be worth it would be too painful a task.
