You know it's really borderline inconsiderate and doesn't help much when you also have people who paid to get in his subscription know about the two prints and others still don't. Add to the fact that people (like me and others) were excited about the idea of Mark Englert making prints for Steven Spielberg movies for the past year in his usual horizontal format. Indy topping that list. Like I said, we'll see what he does. But I've seen similar behavior from artists like this in the past.

I will admit, I think the Spielberg show had tremendous potential. It could've been a 12 print show. I'd hope at some point he could tackle all those other films that he could do beautifully in a 12"x36" format, but I don't see it happening. Something is happening for Mondocon, the Universal golden ticket holder gets an OG done of their choice, and then mine should fall in there somewhere. Mark and I have an understanding as to when the commission gets started. With his HD crashing, I'd have to assume that any progress he had on an existing Natural piece is now gone as well. Oh well.

For some reason I thought The Natural was The Field of Dreams...I've never seen The Natural though. I fell asleep though parts of Field of Dreams.

The Natural is an awesome movie. One of Robert Redford's finest.

Agreed. It's my favorite film, really excited to see what Englert does with the property.

The Natural is the best baseball film ever made IMHO.

Man, I've had that discussion so many times, and while The Natural is my favorite film, I honestly think Major League may be the greatest baseball film ever made. Possibly blasphemous, but, it has so many more great elements of the sport that The Natural just doesn't have.

Major League is a classic, no question. I could see going either way really, depending on my mood. That being said I almost always favor drama over comedy.

yeah, i think they're both great and the best in their own genres. i always put the natural over field of dreams for some reason. trouble with the curve is a great baseball film too. i have a friend thats a scout in the Tigers organization and he's told me before that his job is eerily similar to that movie. town to town checking out high school kids. sounds cool, but, i don't think i would last doing that and i love baseball.
