I thought it was 1/3 scale = no one else can get any decent 1/4 scale licenses because Sideshow has them all wrapped up, so we're forced to make 1/3 scale statues that are ridiculously large and even more expensive that the already expensive 1/4 scale.

If they do somehow miss the mark on this, I'll happily order the Coolprops museum version.
Totally agree with all of this. It will almost certainly be 1/3 to keep in line with the dog. I don't know how it will surpass the Sideshow Big Chap though (and in a way I hope it doesn't as I paid a lot for mine ) - but I also sort of hope it does as I have the dog on order and it would be nice to have a line of 1/3 scale pieces.

The one I am really waiting for now is the warrior so I can at least have one amazing statue from each of the first 3 films (even if the Sideshow Big Chap is 1/4 (although the Coolprops Museum Maquette is supposed to be 1/3 and the actual statue is about the same size as the Sideshow Maquette?)!

Then as with Python I will also (try) to semi-retire from collecting expensive pieces as the alien lines seem to be getting sort of insane on the price front (why oh why don't I like comic book statues, they are cheap by comparison)!

The dog is prime 1.

My question on the Dog is - why is it not sold on Prime1’s site?

Is it because it’s in conjunction with Coolprops?

The dog is CoolProps' "product" but it's being made by Prime 1 in their factories is how I understand the situation, which is why it looks phenomenal.

I've been collecting for a while and have just found that I prefer 1/3 scale. I think it's the perfect scale because it's big enough to be appreciated from afar and to see all of the intricate details of the character. 1/4th isn't bad, it just doesn't have the same "wow" factor for me. I'll collect statues of characters I love in any scale, but 1/3rd is definitive for me.

I can't wait to see the P1 Alien. I'd love an Alien in my collection. I've been waiting for the right one to come along.
