Storing your Itoya

Hello,

I apologize if this thread already been done or answered.

I wonder, how do you store your Itoya Folder ?

Do you pile it (risk of damaging the art)

or do you put it like in a book shelves ? Is there a risk dust coming from top and damage the art ?

Or do you put it in a box or anything ?

All infos or ideas will be much appreciated.

Thanks

How would you damage it by piling them?

Different size of art and different thickness, and with some weight, the art in the bottom side i believe will get some creases because of the piles.

I pile mine. No damages so far. I keep them up high though, so no freak water accident.

Man, I haven't thought of any of these possible issues... Gotta go move my art when I get home tonight.

Never thought about water, but I do pile them and no issues have arisen yet.

Now I need Tupperware!

Just a big plastic bin to store your portfolios in so that if your basement or room you store your goods in should flood, the art would not be sitting in a pool of water.
