Update: Just got in contact with XM customer service and they said they?ll be issuing a replacement to all direct owners. My distributor is aware of QC mishap and will keep me posted when it?s ready.
As far as the gold paint around the jaw and chin area, now that I have in hand it ain?t half bad as I thought it would be. I still wish they tone it down though.
The brown highlights on his bangs is hardly noticeable but would much rather have it all black like in the prototype.

Yeah, my distributor said he will send me the replacement head and sword when he gets it from XM. He let me know ahead of time before sending me the statue. Guess I can use the spare head and sword for some customization.

I got my replacement parts and I have to say, XM did a really good job making things right here.
