Awesome Display jeremydmc. Well arranged and really nice pieces. Could you post some overview pictures from this collection? I would love to see the Detolfs and the older case with all those pieces in it at once

do the Dioder's fit correctly in the top of the Detolf's? Did you put two in each case?

I have one Dioder set split with two lights in each of the Detolf's right now but I am going to get another set to place two more in each.

I have four in my older case that only has a glass door. I thought two would be enough in the Detolf's since they are all glass and the ambient light would not require more lighting but I'm not happy with it so I am going to double it.

Right now I have the chords for each light in the Dioder's going through the hole in the top and then running along the sides between the two cases. Once I get the mirror backs I'll run them along the backs instead.

Here's a picture.

Thanks for the response- I have a similar set up-with the poster as well. I love that frame though. Did you get that custom framed?

I bought the frame at Ikea and did it myself. It was 19.99 if I remember right.

I sound like an Ikea spokesperson. LOL

I have all the comic book covers that the Cover Girls statues were designed from. I'm thinking of getting frames for them as well and incorporating them somehow. It sucks that not all of them have actual covers for them and are based on other art instead. Kind of makes no sense to make Ivy, Harley and Batgirl in the same series if they aren't actual Cover Girls.

Very nice setup Jeremy! Like minds! I was going to frame my cover girls poster to display with the statues when I got more space too.

Here's my most recent purchase.

Beautiful pic of a beautiful piece. One of the rare instances where the production piece came out looking superior to the promo pics.
I usually only get museum poses but this looks too good to pass up. Tons of silver age goodness

I've gotten 4 glass display cases from IKEA. My were $39.99 each. Now I'm starting to run out or room for them.

Thanks for the compliment Primal! I'm thrilled that the piece turned out better than the prototype pics. Next to the Batman/Croc statue I think it's been my favorite purchase of the year.

On the subject of IKEA, I need to find an excuse to get down to Dallas. I'm in the Kansas City area and Dallas has the closest IKEA store to me. I love those Detolf cases.

I had to go to a small city in Canada to get my Detolfs. I'm in the Rochester area and that was by far the closest one.
