That might be a lot to ask for considering the price point. If the legs were 100% metal I'd expect this to be in the $800 range.

They may have internal metal support, very unlikely 100% metal. Definitely not a fan of that engineering as the least they could have done did be to make it a hook-like connection but I think it's will be fine. I'm excited for the piece regardless and happy I pre-ordered. It looks great. Hopefully no QC issues

Man, just saw the unboxing vid, & this thing seems to be close to perfect. Balanced, iconic pose, beautifully detailed, crisp anatomy & paint, looks fcking great. But the real prize will be the floating effect, & going by the vid, a sure bet. A master sculpt that didn't get enough love.

And again, if SSC was able to design a support structure for the Rogue MAQ, then they could easily make one for this statue.
Even with how they designed the Storm PF, the Power Girl PF and Captain Marvel PF ... those are pretty stout. This statue will be stout too.

You can add Juggs & Flash to the list, but yeah, Sideshow has got it pretty much fixed, so enough with the hand wringing/worrying bulls!t, cause we are going to love this thing!
Can't wait.

No worries, as it has been stated in the past that the main support arm(center) is all metal, with the other two enforced with rods.
In the vid you notice no "flex" regarding the central arm, which has a square peg to help in stabilizing/supporting the torso. The other 2 side arms have "flex" with round pegs, facilitating set-up/fitting & further stabilizing the figure.
Simple. Pure. Perfect. An engineering marvel to be applauded, not feared.

A little strange, as wasn't this thing delayed twice already?
As long as he's in by holiday cheer, as the stark red will be a timely blend, & will give us ample time to bask in that iconic floating effect.
