Oh and Jono I have no problem with anybody not agreeing with me RE pro-life and I don't want to debate or anything, but just to clarify I will tell you why I take what most consider an extreme position.

For me its not religious. I just think that a person has to become a person at some point and the more I thought about it the only point that makes sense is conception. I know at that point they don't have feelings or are even aware that they exist, but it is the only point that makes sense to determine that it is a person. All other points fail the test, if it is "viability" then the date would change with technology, babies that couldn't survive a decade ago can be saved today. If it is "able to survive on their own" then many babies born wouldn't be considered a person if they needed medical intervention to keep them alive. If it is birth then you are faced with the ridiculous position that they "become" a person in the 10 minutes it takes to actually get them out.

Once I reached this personal decision, then it is simple. A person is a person and deserves the protections of at least "life". I actually have no problem with people that don't believe it is a person (although none can give me a suitable answer to me as to when they become a person) being in favor of allowing abortions. My biggest problem is with people that say "I personally believe it is a person, but I don't think I can impose that on someone else". To that I say BS if you really believe it is a person then you dam well do have an obligation to do what you can to protect that person, especially if you are in a position of power.

But as you said we will never agree on this one. It's ok, both my sisters are pro-choice. I have no idea if either have ever had an abortion. My wife and I are both pro-life, but she is a huge lib when it comes to forking out my money or Govt money for every Harry Hardluck or Sally Sobstory that gives her a phone call. Nobody agrees on everything.

i'm not at all pro-abortion. i'm pro-child & pro-choice. i think a woman ought to be in control of her own body, and that supersedes the rights of the fetus--whom i agree is a person. it's a terrible, terrible decision to face from any standpoint; i just believe the gov't ought not to limit the person in that position's choices absently, as it were. or, if the gov't makes terminating the pregnancy not an option, they should support the woman thru her pregnancy, take, and then raise well the child, because that's not gonna happen otherwise.

so i think we believe roughly the same thing, but i approach it differently.

wow, 17 fs statues in the first quarter or so of 2009 alone.

I feel sorry for you completist FS collectors. That's just too much product.

Are there still completists out there? The only guy I personally know that is close is Shed Man and even he doesn't have everything. He is called "Shed Man" because he had to build an entirely separate building (shed) to store and display his statues.

The MB interest has pretty much died for me. Kurse? Ringmaster? boring

Just too many FS. I'm on order for four and think I need to cancel one.
