I haven't read the Peter Tomasi books yet so i don't know the current state of Superman but i know that it gets alot of praises so i think there isn't any need for any change or any new version but i may give Bendis a chance, if i ever get in to the rebirth deluxe Superman... i still can't decide, if i should get into rebirth Superman. Super Sons makes it tempting for sure...

I get this sentiment and concern. I read SUperman #39 the other day and thought "This may be cheesy to some, but man, for me it was brilliant modernization of silver age comics with classic Superman".
As long as Superman stays true to his core, I am okay with taking some chances in other aspects. A recent story in Action Comics could have completely altered the way we view his origin story (I won't spoil anything).

Does that mean he's not assisting in Marvel Studios stuff?
Thank goodness we don't have to put up with him pushing his favourite characters/creations everywhere.

Yep, he’s leaving Marvel and signed an exclusive contract with DC Comics.

Whatever just happened in Action Comics probably doesn’t matter, unfortunately, as Bendis will be completely rewriting Superman’s origin in the upcoming 6-part Man of Steel mini-series.

Well, in comics retcons and reboots are a part of life. If the stories are interesting to read and stay true to character's core that is my litmus test.
