This is an inevitability, there will definitely be live-action SW tv sooner or later. As is mentioned in the article Lucas had been working on this, and had 100 episode scripts already written but was waiting for tv to catch up so he could do it without breaking the bank. It never happened, but I'm sure those scripts will get dusted off and used one way or another.
