I know very few women who scream and rant about other women wearing make-up and making themselves look fresh-faced and alive. THOSE women I roll me eyes at and think, "You must have an easy life if your biggest b!tch is that other women wear mascara."
I think it's sends a dumb message to impressionable youth that you can only be a powerful, commanding, woman in the galaxy if you wear boxy uniforms and don't distract others by putting on make-up. If somebody doesn't want to wear make-up, that's their choice. But don't put down the idea of wanting to wear it because it's holding somebody back from their true potential.
And another thing, I always looked at Storm and Captain Marvel as the Marvel version of Wonder Woman. Last time I checked, Wonder Woman is never looking like she rolled out of bed and is half put together. Disney/Marvel better GTFO with this nonsense. If this is their new SJW message, they should probably stop making really pretty Disney Princesses who alllll have pretty long eye lashes, blush, cute fitting dresses, and big pink pouty lips.

I think the drastic difference in these looks has everything to do with the artist - not that Carol is now dowdy.
