I think we're about to see Marvel get real creative with these omnis. For example, a Byrne X-Men run, A Spidey vs Green Goblin run, and so on. However, the one I'm really hoping for is a Byrne FF run. I loved that run of books. Byrne wrote/pencilled issues 232-294 and pencilled a whole bunch of others prior to 232 just prior to his taking up the writing chores. A two volume omni set would be awesome!

I'd love to see a Dr. Strange omni as well.

Oooo I like how you're thinking mate!

A Dr Strange Omni would be AWESOME! Byrne FF too...

I'm thinking as we draw closer to the Avengers movie some Avengers Omni's will hit too, especially considering we've had two Thor and Cap ones in the lead up to their respective films

The only thing I'm worried about is that we'll get lots of wrtiers runs, but will miss out on the cool issues in between.

They should just realise it allin omnibus form, then we can pick and choose.

Avengers gets a hell yeah from me, I'd pick it all up!

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

This thread is tempting me to buy some. Will some of the out of print ones come back into print?

If there's enough demand for them, they'll definitely go back into print. Why wouldn't they? Marvel never said it wouldn't keep these in print. My Brubaker Cap omni, for example, is on its 4th printing. There are a number of the Masterworks which went into multiple printings too.

While its great to see these omnis rise in value, I don't believe the intention was to create hard-to-find collectibles. That being said, fans need to be reasonable about their hopes and expectations. For example, the ones I don't see going back to print are the ones which didn't sell well to begin with like the Dracula, Alias, Devil Dinosaur, and Eternals omnis and so on. While it's not to say those weren't fabulous reads, the numbers don't justify additional printings. Then again, you can bet we'll eventually see more printings of the silver age Fantastic Four volume 2.

Spidey 1 is on its 3rd I believe.
