Mixed media hair?

Hi all

I am about to approach the hair on my latest piece, usually I sculpt this in, But as I sit here, my wife is brushing through some synthetic hair extension she has just received from eBay

Is this a suitable medium or does it need to be mohair or similar?

no clue, but best to find out what hot toys hair is made of and then go from there.
