Good for you. That?s pretty disciplined of you. I?ve still got 8 floor-to-ceiling bookcases to display 100+ statues and God knows how many books. Plus my spinner rack for comics. Plus art and props up on the walls. I can?t bring myself to cull it all down. I love all of it.

This is between us though, don't tell that i am actually 40 to the 20 years old girls that i plan to eat.
Who needs Mephistopheles when you have Gym.

I am excited. Both Daredevil by Chip Zdarsky, vol. 1 and Daredevil: Shadowland Omnibuses are coming out in July. Well, i heard some complains from some unhappy DD fans that Shadowland Event was not good. But i still can't believe that, i need to see with my own two eyes.
Because everything i read from Andy Diggle at DC Comics was excellent. Green Arrow: Year One, Adam Strange: Planet Heist and the Losers were all excellent reads. Andy Diggle is one of my favorite comic book writers so i am super excited for Shadowland as well, even if some negative comments, i have seen on the internet. As far as i can see from his Green Arrow: Year One, Andy Diggle is an excellent choise for a street level vigilante book. I would like to see him write Batman.

Not all writers, even great writers, are the right fit for everything. I didn’t like Shadowland at all, but loved Green Arrow Year One.
Even Mark Waid and Jason Aaron, consistently exceptional writers, had terrible and disappointing runs on Incredible Hulk.
Everyone’s mileage may vary on personal preferences.

Great point. I will say though that I haven’t read a bad Brubaker run.

Personally, I was not a fan of his and Fraction?s Immortal Iron Fist, though I know I?m in the minority. I did love how he handled Iron Fist in his Daredevil run, though.

Haven’t read his Iron Fist yet. His crime stories he writes for other companies are good. Realistic characters and settings seem to be his forte. This won’t happen but a good Punisher run from him would be fantastic.

Realistic is not a fitting word for Punisher or any other vigilante book. I mean What is Punisher's body count ??? 1.000.000 or something ??? that is only one of things which is not realistic about him.
I like to call it, street level. It is not realistic, but it is not some uber crazy ---- with multiverse and intergalactic space and time travel or something, the setting is just regular looking city streets.

I especially liked his work on Gotham Central. His apex work, of course, is Captain America. I also like his other crime work that you mention. I agree, the realism he injects into his writing makes his work far more gripping than most other writers.
