The main issue (IMHO) is down to the people making said sex dolls and the intended customers - neither of which seem to value detail or artistic quality - which is ironic - because you'd think some guy who wants to experience "companionship" without the need for human interaction - would want a highly realistic product.....
Personally, if I was that way inclined, Madame Palm and her five daughters would work well enough for me

Realbotix Robots companionship robots came up on Youtube lastweek. The company offers 3 Robots.
I have to admit, i find them highly amusing. Some of the comments posted to YouTube under some of the videos are Gold
Realbotix offer 3 models:
1. Aria - The blond female.
2. Melody - The slightly drugged up looking dark haired female.
3. Hank - The old guy.
All 3 share the same robotic skull. The silicone faces swap-out.
They converse using A.I.
I wonder, what sort of people buy these at $175,000.00 a pop!?
It would fun to have 1/3 JND piece with an an animatronic portrait, that links to the Internet to bring it's A.I. mind to life, at a fraction of cost of a Realbotix Robot.
