Yeah I thought so too but this one was listed as 'TBD' so figured they thought they might have a fire seller on their hands.

Not sure if it's true, but I heard years ago that custom companies like to keep the ES under 100 to keep the license holders from bothering to take legal action.

Yeah I assumed that. But with it being listed like that following the popularity of Lara I wonder.

It's like criminals in the US making sure their cash transactions are below $10,000 so as not to trigger a report to the federal government

I sort of doubt a Hyperreal Game Collectibles figures will match the high standards of a JND statue.
These "new" companies springing up out of China are essentially the same people / factories - that produce 1:1 sex dolls. The "technology" and quality is exactly the same, but scaled down to (approx) 1/3 scale.

They are literally making these same figures at 1:1 scale - and while the prototypes might look quite good, the in-hand pieces look quite cheap and rushed - same as the 1:1 sex dolls.

Sex dolls are very interesting products!

I mean, when you step back from their intended purpose, you just end up with a very detailed action figure....when you consider what people are prepared to pay for a 1:1 Queen Studio or Infinity Studio Bust or Lifesize figure - which is essentially a mannequin for hanging a costume on - a "Sex doll" can make a lot of sense for collectors who have the space.

The main issue (IMHO) is down to the people making said sex dolls and the intended customers - neither of which seem to value detail or artistic quality - which is ironic - because you'd think some guy who wants to experience "companionship" without the need for human interaction - would want a highly realistic product.....

Personally, if I was that way inclined, Madame Palm and her five daughters would work well enough for me

Realbotix Robots companionship robots came up on Youtube lastweek. The company offers 3 Robots.
I have to admit, i find them highly amusing. Some of the comments posted to YouTube under some of the videos are Gold

Realbotix offer 3 models:
1. Aria - The blond female.
2. Melody - The slightly drugged up looking dark haired female.
3. Hank - The old guy.

All 3 share the same robotic skull. The silicone faces swap-out.

They converse using A.I.

I wonder, what sort of people buy these at $175,000.00 a pop!?

It would fun to have 1/3 JND piece with an an animatronic portrait, that links to the Internet to bring it's A.I. mind to life, at a fraction of cost of a Realbotix Robot.

She looks good in your pic, but in the video it looks like she used a few too many botox injections
