Man maybe Johnny didn't learn how the speak English properly or he is really an asshole. The way he communicates is not respectful and he almost always sounds like an ass.. He is making great stuff but he needs to change his manner.

I waited 8 years for this statue since the first teaser in 2017. It is a good sculpt. 100% accurate? No. The video made it clear that it is prime 1 rendition of Wolf which is honestly kinda sad as I always thought that the 1/3 line was supposed to be like the most accurate prop statue and not someone's "idea" of what a statue should be. Wanted this to be the most accurate wolf but oh well.
I have asked if some tweaks can be made for the wolf as I spotted some inaccuracies immediately in the video and photo.
1. change the color of the leather. The actual prop is more of a brown-brown than a dark chocolate brown.(Refer to sideshow/ADI wolf legendary for paint reference. Yes they screwed up the netting on the legs)
2. The netting on the statue is too big/loose.(Look at his left bicep and count the number of diamond pattern)
3. The dreads are too big/thick.
4. Upper Teeth is too thick.
5. The right shoulder scar is supposed to be painted grey.
6. The blind eye does have a pupil.
7. The dread Rings are wrong.
8. For colour/paint, even I am not sure it seems very unsaturated(Too pale). Hardcore wolf fans please help me with this.
9. Close mouth(probably another limited release)
Prime 1 director Jhonny Matsumoto states that he will not change anything in this statue
"This won?t change anything! Even if the community tries, I won?t budge. This wolf predator is exactly what I?ve always wanted for my collection, and nothing will convince me otherwise. You might call me selfish, but this wolf is a creation of everything I?ve had in mind, and it's non-negotiable. The base design from the beginning needs to align with both the rooftop and the hospital end scene, so all the weapons make sense within the story. In the hospital, the wolf predator took down three xenomorphs. That being said, I?d rather not continue debating this topic. This will be my final message on the matter. The entire design, including the pose and base, will feature Nemesis as a companion piece in the work.
Noticed some of the people there love kissing his ass as well to gain some attention in hopes they reply to them.

I was the one that posted the picture that he responded to. It's unfortunate they won't be taking any feedback on this. I think they might have lost an order from me. Considering this will probably be a $4k+ piece, that probably makes my decision easier.

The plastic strings are distracting and look pretty cheap. Imo should be a straight clear cut where you can see some internal head structure with fluoresent blood.
A quality Alien on the base is nice, two or three victims are nice also. But there is something not 100% translating atm and indeed the concrete color is strange choice.
Also is Wolfs main body too long here. Hip to head ratio?

That's unfortunate because you're right, that would look better. They aren't changing anything, though

I think he got tired after giving in to revisions for Jungle Hunter.
This one is kinda dynamically posed compared to the other 1/3's no?
I do not own it but I still think Sideshow's is king if only for the superior pose.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I like that Jhonny is confident in his work that he wont make revisions. You super hardcore Wolf fans with the 'dreads are too thick' comments must drive him up the wall. There is a reason why Harrison Ford won't answer Star Wars questions - you guys get annoying when your fandom bleeds into nitpicks that 99.9% of people won't care about.

I wouldn't consider this dynamic because it's just a Captain Morgan pose, just on a Alien. The extra left arm adds a little more movement to the piece. It would've been amazing if they just copied the SS pose. That's the one time where I wouldn't have cared if they stole Sideshows homework lol.

I get that. It doesn't seem many are screaming for the changes I want to the base anyways. I think Wolf himself is fine as is. I just find it ironic he wants to keep this as a rooftop scene to be cohesive with the upcoming Predalien, but where the heck is the cohesiveness with the 1/3 Kratos and Thor?

That is a poor attitude. That isn't "confident" at all, if anything not getting it right is just plain lazy. Hell, the fans are the ones doing the work to point out improvements.

Accuracy of the actual pred and subjective things like pose/base, etc... are 2 different things though.
I don't think we absolutely need "cohesiveness". These are more standalone pieces than a diorama.

I don't think wolf sculpt or paint itself needs changing, looks fine to me. But the base definitely needs one alien gone and also the middle alien with the arm grabbing wolfs crotch, they need to move that arm somehow as it's an eye sore.
I still think it would have been better to put one alien on the base, (but the entire body, with body damage, blood, guts whatever else) rather than three partial alien bits and pieces. Then with wolfs left hand reaching out, do a swap out of a severed alien head. That way you still get enough alien/s and also frees up base space for more better creative output as at the moment the base is messy and bland imo.
When the price drops, reality will drop and people will hesitate dropping 5-6k to get a excellent but otherwise flawed statue overall.
