Thats because they get a discount as they do millions of dollars in business with Fed Ex per year.
I will never be able to get those same prices from FedEx.

For this system to work in the heat of the moment, you'd need a system that remembers shipping address, card details etc. We'll never be able to secure a piece if we have to enter all the info on the spot

I agree. I think the minute you click on the order button and it goes into your cart it should be temporarily reserved. You should then get 10 minutes to complete your order and fill out all the correct details. Then, once you pay, your order/reservation is confirmed officially. I've seen this on a lot of websites (I think Amazon does it). Jerry?
